Lambert Kwok

Lambert Kwok is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from McGill University.

Prior to entering into private practice, Lambert worked as a criminal crown prosecutor in the Brampton / Mississauga courthouse, the busiest criminal jurisdiction in Canada. He prosecuted numerous high profile cases involving serious charges such as aggravated assault, sexual assault, kidnapping, human trafficking, and murder. This experience has allowed Lambert to understand the intricate thoughts and inner workings of the prosecutorial and policing departments.

Lambert has tremendous experience in motor vehicle related criminal offences. In addition to prosecuting more than 500 impaired driving cases, he was also appointed as the prosecutorial team leader of the Peel Regional Police Major Collisions Bureau involved in the investigation and prosecution of only the most grave motor vehicle offences such as dangerous driving causing death, criminal negligence causing death, impaired driving causing death, and careless driving involving a fatality.

Since entering private practice, Lambert has successfully defended cases in the areas of drugs, frauds, firearms, domestic assaults, youth justice, organized crime, and drinking and driving related offences. He has been involved in trial and appellate cases at the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

He has also worked at reputable criminal defence firms in Toronto and Hong Kong. His involvement with the Innocence Project has lead to the vindication and release of a person wrongfully convicted of murder. In addition, Lambert authors legal commentary about newly emerging legal issues and lectures at various legal conferences.
